As it is well known, web quest is an inquiry-oriented lesson format in which most or all the information that learners work with comes from the web. These can be created using various programs, including a simple word processing document that includes links to websites.
We would like to mention that students enjoy we quests a lot as it is a new way of gaining new knowledge and impoving foregn language skills. The variety of tasks, resources and tools absorbs students. Consequently, they complete the tasks with great pleasure and desire that leads to efficient results.
When a teacher designs a web quest he/she needs to remember some rules and follow. We offer the Tips to evaluate and check if the web quest is designed correctly.
One of the examples of the web quest is offered below. It was designed to help students to learn the countries of the European Union Group. We used the platform Wakelet that allows to collect, save and share the content of different format (articles, videos, audio, files, pictures etc.). It also gives an opprtunity to arrange collobaration.
