Step 1

Discuss the points about pieces of scupture

1. Have you ever seen any pieces of work of art?

2. Have you visited a sculpture park?

3. Do you  know any sculptors? Have you a favourite sculpture that you can describe?

4. Does a sculpture look the same from different angles?

5. What materials can a sculpture be made of?

6. How does the human body show movement? (sport, dance, sitting, standing, running etc)

7. Discuss how the body can express emotions through movement.

8. How does the human body express emotion?

(anger, impatience, shock, affection, humour etc)

Step 2

Look at the picture. Describe a piece of sculpture using questions mentioned above.
