Bloom's Taxonomy in Analyzing Pictures

This kind of activity can be used to envolve students who complete the tasks faster and have the better level of a foreign language knowledge.

Choose a photograph and offer students to make up questions according to Bloom's taxanomy.

For example:

We have chosen an image from The Spuce Crafts.


· Remember: Who and what can you name in the picture? · Understand: What is happening in the photo? · Apply: What one sentence caption would you write? · Analyze: Where do you think they are? · Synthesize: What might they be thinking about? · Evaluate: Aren't they too young to blow bubbles? Why or why not?
